The Chennai chapter of IDA ( International Dance Alliance) is celebrating its silver jubilee.
The international dance week is organised from August 5 – 7 at Narada Gana Sabha. This event is organised in association with the sabha and Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi.
The inauguration event took place on August 5. Vyjayanthimala Bali presided over the inauguration. Jayant Kastaur, Secretary of Sangeet Natak Akademi was also present.
A Bharatanatyam dance performance ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadguru’ was done on the opening day. The fest ends on August 7 with series of recitals. Admit cards are available at the auditorium. For more details log on to www.kutcheribuzz.com.
