Members of the Mylapore Club who play cricket and have competed in a few tourneys as a team are celebrating following their win in the recent Prince of Arcot T20 cricket tourney
Karthik Narayanan won the ‘player of the tournament’ award scoring 235 runs in 5 matches while Sandeep Srinivasan took 6 wickets for 19 runs in the final to bag the ‘player of the final’ award
15 teams participated in the T20 tournament.
15 year old Anchit Mehta, a class X student of St. Bede’s was declared the most promising youngster of the tournament. He has been scoring consistently throughout the club tournaments this season. Also, in TNCA league cricket, Anchit has scored over 300 runs in the 4th division league including one century.
