Mangollai, the favourite venue for political meetings will be a busy place on Sunday.
This East Mada – North Mada Streets junction area will be the venue of a public meeting of the VCK ( Vidhuthalai Chiruthikal Kazhagam ).
The VCK went to court to get the city police to permit a rally and a public meeting on Sunday, after it was denied permission. The court asked the state to grant the VCK the ‘okay’ for the event.
Mangollai is often used by parties to hold public meetings though this does affect the mada veedhi traffic flow.
