Overnight rain does not seem to have created any major civic problems in this neighborhood. Though it rained intermittently from 9 p.m.onwards on Monday, people in many colonies said that water did not stagnate on the streets when they looked out Tuesday morning.
However, water pools were seen on Dr D G S Dinakaran Road near the Sri Ayyappa Temple and Dr. Ambedkar Mantapam sides.
Civic workers recently cleared the silt in drains along the main roads.
