The Panguni festival Vidaiaatri music and dance festival will now be held son after the grand maha-kumbhabishekam of Sri Kapali Temple. It is scheduled from April 4 to 13.
There will be be classical music and dance concerts every evening.
Artistes who will perform include Bombay Jayashri, Sanjay Subrahmanyan, Vijay Siva, Trichur Brothers and dance troupes of Urmila Satyanarayanan, Sheela Unnikrishnan and Krishnakumari Narendran, besides others.
The fest should have been held soon after the thiru-kalyanam celebration of the Panguni fest but since the preparations for the kumbhabishekam had to be made, the arts fest was pushed to next week.
Concerts start at 6.30 / 6.45 p.m. daily and will be held in the temple campus.
