St. Bede’s wins city leg of Junior Super Kings T20 cricket tourney

St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Hr Sec School’s cricket team won the Chennai phase of the Junior Super Kings inter-school T20 tourney in a match held on Tuesday in the city. It beat the Don Bosco, Egmore team.

It won in the last ball of the innings.

St Bede’s had to score 11 runs off the last over and it managed to win in the last ball.

Don Bosco scored 105 in its 20 overs and in reply, St Bede’s scored 106 for six in 20 overs. Star player Audhi Sachin made 37 runs while its bowler Shyam Sunder took four for 19 to restrict DB, Egmore when it batted.
