Sri Kapali Temple’s new kalyana mandapam getting ready on Greenways Road

 The kalyana mandapam at Greenways Road, R. A. Puram, being constructed at the cost of 16.85
crores by Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore on its land will be ready later this year but some works seem to be taking time to be completed.
A press release by the temple states that the state HR & CE minister Sevur. S. Ramachandran  inspected the premises on May 2 evening along with other officials including the HR and CE
commissioner Veera Shanmuga Mani, the temple’s thakkar, P. Vijayakumar Reddy and D. Kaveri,
the executive officer of the temple.
Works still pending at the mandapam include the air-conditioning, EB connection and the gravel filling in front of the mandapam. The minister has asked the contractor to complete the work.
