This year’s Chriscar, a carol singing competition, was held at Our Lady of Guidance Church at Lazarus Church Road, R. A. Puram on Dec 2.
Rev. Fr. P. S. Kanickairaj, the parish priest there says, “More than 400 people from 16 parishes all over Chennai took part in this competition. We had people coming from places like Egmore, Basin Bridge, Alandur and Ayanavaram. This event is held in the first week of December every year and is to encourage youngsters to soak in the Christmas spirit”.
