Public walls used by political parties get ‘booked’ for Lok Sabha poll

Public and private walls are being ‘booked’ by political parties for messaging for the forthcoming elections to Lok Sabha.

The entire stretch of the wall on both sides of the Adyar bridge in R A Puram has been whitewashed and two political parties have left small scrawls to say the space is reserved. One of the parties is the VCK party ed by Thol Thirumalvalavan.

Elsewhere, in San Thome and in Mandavelipakkam some walls which always sport messaging of political parties have got a bright look to indicate in some way that the party is ‘owner’ of the space.
