Kamal Haasan’s caravan canvassing for support for his party’s candidate in Chennai South rolled out on Thursday evening. The Makkal Neidhi Maiam ( MNM) party’s cadres and well-wishers lined up street junctions in R. A. Puram and in Foreshore Estate as the caravan with the actor and the candidate, R. Standing inside the lit van, Kamal Haasan spoke first and then asked Rangarajan who held up a placard, to speak. Rangarajan dwelt on local issues which he promised he would attend if he was elected.
