The Cupcake Company launched, a dessert cafe last month on TTK Road after their first outlet on St. Mary’s Road in Alwarpet.
With a cherry blossom tree at the entrance, the entire café is done up in quaint interiors with hanging flowers from the ceiling, floral designs with gold detailing and marble table tops, giving it a European feel.
Shitija Nahata who started The Cupcake Company back in 2011, introduced the concept of cupcakes to the city 8 years ago.
The café has a breakfast menu with fluffy buttermilk pancakes, crepes, 6 varieties of sweet and savory French toast. They also serve salads, gourmet sandwiches and quiche, along with tarts, mini desserts called mini petite fours, dessert jars, jelly pops and in-house specialty cupcakes The ingredients sourced are fresh and the desserts are made daily in their in-house bakery.
