Recently, a 38-year-old man from the Mylapore neighbourhood tested positive for the virus.
He is a resident of VOC Street in Teynampet.
The virus positive man is employed at a Tamizh TV channel in Chennai.
Says Chennai Corporation’s zonal health officer (zone 9), “The virus spread to the 38-year-old from his colleagues who were virus-positive. He is now admitted to a government hospital for treatment.”
