There are many people looking for a salon. Just looking and will dare now get to one even if it is opened for fear of not complying with social distancing.
Many people shave at home. But some want a hair cut or a beard trim and are living with the overgrowth.
All salons are closed.
But one salon, Style Zone on Arundale Street has put up a note on his shutter saying he is available for a haircut at your home. He is probably taking a chance – for he needs the income.
When asked if he follows the advisory to prevent the virus spread, Suresh, the owner of the salon says, “I wear a mask and gloves while at work. I also wash my hands with hand sanitizer regularly. Customers also follow the advisory”
The services are available from 7 a.m. to 12 noon on all days. Price for a home-based hair-cut is Rs. 200.
