Fantasy fiction writing workshop; registrations open

If you have ever loved reading J R R Tolkien, C S Lewis, Lewis Carroll, J K Rowling, Ursula Le Guin, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, to name a few, and wondered what it is like to create that alternate world where so many of us have found solace, then this ‘Fantasy Fiction Writing’ workshop is for you.
From October 17 to 25, writer-editor Praveena Shivram who is based in Abiramapuram, will explore the many nuances of world-building, character graphs and that big quest.
The workshop is for both young adults (11 to 17 yrs, in the morning, between 10:30 am and 12:00 pm) and adults (anyone 18+, early evening between 3:30 pm and 5 pm).
The timings are for the four weekend live group Zoom sessions, plus individual work during the week to be carried out at the participant’s own pace and time. To register, write to workshops.pra@gmail.com.
