A new place for young people to hang-out has opened recently in Alwarpet.
Art Cafe is located in a basement of a space on Sriman Srinivasan TTK Road and it has a certain idea behind its business – to be a place where people enjoy good food amidst walls that have grafitii and art painted all over an a space that will hold paintings of the city’s artists, one at a time.
Art Café is curated, headed and managed by Rashna Adiraj and Vijay Adiraj, the latter being a well known TV personality.
The formal launch of the cafe was done by actor-director Suhasini Maniratnam.
The menu includes beverages, Toasties, sandwiches, pizza, burgers,Wraps and Sizzlers – all vegetarian.
Rashna Adiraj says she intends to give her space free of cost to budding artists to exhibit their paintings. There are also plans for art-related activities
Timings – 11 am to 11 pm – open all 7 days of the week. This is a dine-in cafe and also has take-away services. Home delivery is through Dunzo and other food delivery Apps
