This duo first sold sundal and kozhukattai. Now, they also offer ‘tiffin’.

Mylapore based couple Prashanth and Krithika, who are known for selling home made sundals and pidi kozhukattai are now offering some tiffin items too.

Hot and fresh appam and kadala curry are now available for sale at their shop in the mornings from 8 am to 10 .30 am.

Says Prashanth, “We want to expand our business. Hence, we have introduced tiffin items.”

Unlike the regular idly, dosa and pongal that is readily available in every eaterie, the couple wanted to offer something different. “And so we came up with appam and kadala curry.”

Soon, he says that they would also introduce puttu varieties. “Initially, we are planning to sell rice and ragi puttu. Slowly, we plan to add more items, once business picks up.”

Sundal (black and white) and pidi kozhukattai are also available for sale here in the evenings.

A plate of appam and kadala curry is priced at Rs 30. The food counter is outside their house at C.P. Koil Street, Mylapore. Ph: 9962836436.
