DMK and its allies have won in all seven Wards that its candidates contested in elections to the city council held on Feb.19. These wards cover the greater Mylapore zone.
While the DMK candidates went on to win in Wards 124 and 125 and in 171, the Congress candidate for Ward 126 was the last to get a victory result as counting ended at Loyola College well past 5 p.m.
