It is 6pm on Thursday (July 28). On the occasion of Aadi Amavasai and as part of the sixth day of Aadi Pooram utsavam, Kesava Perumal and Andal provided joint darshan around the four big streets.
The Aadi Pooram utsavam at the Kesava Perumal Temple this week was marked by vahana street processions of Andal.
The utsavam began last Saturday with Andal providing darshan on Gaja Lakshmi vahana. On Wednesday, she went around the streets on Sesha Vahana.
On Saturday evening, she will provide darshan on Yaanai vahana while at 7.30am on Sunday morning there will be a chariot procession of Andal.
Aadi Pooram falls on Monday, August 1.
