The Plus Two exams began this Monday morning.
Exam centres in local area schools wore a different look with arrangements in place for the smooth conduct of the exams.
This is the first public exam that students who had to face the pandemic years with lockdowns, shut schools, prolonged online classes and a disturbed environment, will be sitting for.
At Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls School, Mylapore the teachers said that since some girls had become slow learners, been affected their writing skills and had less attention spans, the teachers had to take special classes to skill them for the exam.
One such example – students were taught how to answer questions with snappy answers using bullet points.
