Fisher folks and fish hawkers have begun a protest on Marina Loop Road since this Monday morning.
They have blocked the road by parking some boats and spreading their nets. Some hawkers have also sat in the middle of the road, holding up umbrellas.
A few hawkers at the protest site said that they will not allow any vehicular movement on the road and that they will not shift to the new fish market that is being built off this road.
