35 children enjoyed the two art/crafts workshops that were held at Nageswara Rao Park on Sunday, Feb.25 as part of the Art Fest – Chennai event.
Both were conducted by artist, art teacher and social activist Shreya Suraj of Gopalapuram.
The morning’s event got children to convert used T-shirts into handy cloth bags.
The evening’s workshop was focussed on eco-friendly Decoupage.
Participants got to work on a bottle, cleaning, painting, sticking pictures . . . and when they were done, many were excited with the outcome and while some decided to use them as flower vases, some said they would use this as a pens/ pencils container.
