Bhavan’s theatre fest features Tamil, bilingual and a mix of short plays. April 8 onwards

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai Kendra is organising a theatre fest at its main auditorium in Mylapore for six days.  From April 8 to 13, 6.30 pm daily. It is open to all.

 The Fest will feature four Tamil plays, one bilingual (Tamil & English) and a dramathon comprising of six Tamil short plays with a duration of 15mins. each.

Here is the Fest schedule –

April 8th – “Vandichodai” by Koothu Pattarai

April 9th – Six award winning short plays by varied troupes under the banner “Dramathon”

April 10th – “One Degree Second” by Alchemy Theatres

April 11th – “Tiruchiyai Meeta Sundarapandiyan” by Theatre Karpanai Kudhirai

April 12th – “Nam Arumai Pudhumaipithan” by Theatre Ko

April 13th –  “Black Out” by  Theatre Karan
