School students coached in R. A. Puram community project do well in Class 12 exams

Raja Annamalaipuram Residents’ Association (RAPRA) has been awarding scholarships worth Rs 1.80 lakhs every year to less privileged students of neighbourhood who study at Chennai ( GCC) and government aided schools.

For the past two years RAPRA has also been conducting free coaching classes for 10
students in accountancy, commerce, economics and business math. The classes are handled by by two chartered accountants.

All the students who attended this coaching have fared well in the subjects
for which they had extra coaching in the Class 12 exams results which came out on Monday.

Kanimozhi of Rani Meyyammai Girls School scored centum in accountancy.

RAPRA’s leaders say their aim was not only to help these students to score high marks but to make the students understand the subject deeply so that this would help them in their higher studies and career.

As these students needed laptops which they could not afford to buy; so RAPRA arranged laptops for them.
