Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is hosting a cultural festival in connection with the festival of Onam. The fest is called “Bhavanonam” and starts on August 17; all events will be held at its main auditorium.
Bhavan’s director K. N. Ramaswamy said that the shows will bring to life Kerala’s rich cultural heritage,
” We will host all the traditional art forms of Kerala and these are to be performed by very talented artists from the state,” he said.
Kathakali, Malayalam short plays and Kerala musical ensemble concert and themed show are lined up. Here is the schedule –
Aug 17 – Kathakali concert
Aug.18 – Ensemble Malayalam music concert
Aug.19 – Short Plays – in Malayalam
Aug.20 – Themed music-dance production
Every evening from 6.30 p.m. Open to all.
