Campaigning for Elections 2021 in Mylapore is picking up.
This Friday morning ( March 5), the Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK)party made its debut in its local campaign.
Its candidate M. Mahalakshmi led a small band of cadres to the Thiruvalluvar statue on Royapettah High Road, garlanded it and took an oath before campaigning in the area.
Mahakshmi resides in Sholinganallur. She is the first candidate for Mylapore who has licked off a campaign.
Naam Tamilar has contested locally in the past election and chosen highly qualified women as its candidates.
