The Pope’s message to the Church to pray for peace in Ukraine was picked up in San Thome.
The archbishop, Rev. George Antonysamy led priest and the faithful in a short prayer that was held outside the St Thomas Cathedral, near the grotto after the Holy Mass on Ash Wednesday last week.
People who had attended the Mass joined in this prayer. A few held up paper sheets with slogans, seeking peace in Ukraine.
