Reading books in Nageswara Rao Park: launch on July 23, 3 pm onwards. Open to all

Reading in public spaces: this movement is now being tried out in Mylapore.

On Sunday, ( July 23) people are invited to carry a book, head to the Chess Square zone at the rear of Nageswara Rao Park in Luz, and read by yourself, alongside others.

If you do not have a book in hand, the hosts, led by Balaji, will provide a selection to choose from. There are books for kids too.

This session starts at 3 p.m. and runs for an hour. Refreshments will be served.

More Milaga, a caterer, is supporting this venture.

Balaji says he and his team has an open mind on this project and want to make this a regular event if they have even 10 people attend the first event.
