The Lok Satta Party has fielded young Jai Ganesh as its candidate for Chennai South for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The party which has its roots in Andhra Pradesh and has undertaken its work on a low profile has been around in the state for a while and also contested in state elections.
It has been recently overshadowed by the robust and high-profile play of the AAP party.
Volunteers of the party have begun reaching out to the community and have even received cash donations from well wishers.
