Heavy, dark clouds across the Marina . . . and then, rain.

At 4 p.m. this Tuesday evening ( June 21), the clouds began to roll across the skies over the sea beyond the Marina. And as they gathered they turned darker, from blue to black and severe. They moved from the sea into the shore side and then it began to rain.

But the rain was not severe, as the dark clouds may have promised.

It rained steady for some 30minutes and waned into a drizzle and stopped.

But for all those people on the Marina beach around the Light House, the sight, sound and feel was welcome after the long spell of harsh summer.

Meteorologists have said that showers will continue this week.
