The Jeth Nagar community is gathering this Saturday evening to celebrate Children’s Day at the Narayani Ammal Kalyana Mantapam, Mandaveli.
The event begins with an exhibition of art works of children of this area followed by an art class session for the kids by S. Shivkumar. He will share simple tips that can make drawing and painting easy and smart.
A key session at this event will be the honouring of all the teachers who reside in Jeth Nagar.
Then there is a session of classical dance by children, a violin recital and a quiz open to all, themed on Mylapore with Balakrishnan as quiz master.
