R K Nagara association, which covers the R K Nagar area in R. A. Puram makes it a point to host community events on special occasions to strengthen bonds with families and also to honour staff who maintain this nagar.
For Deepavali, this body invited all the Urbaser Sumeet staff who clear and dispose waste in the nagar and gifted each one of them with clothes for their children and sweets.
