The two petrol bunks at the junction of Dr D G Dinakaran Road and R K Mutt Road in R A Puram area, have been temporarily closed due to underground work of Chennai Metro.
These bunks are on alongside off MGR Janaki College for Women in R A Puram.
A third petrol bunk, south of these bunks, remains open and is extra busy now.
The bunks were shut some weeks ago for similar work.
Just now, boring machines of Chennai Metro contracted companies are making their way towards the Adyar river side from the junction here to construct the underground rail line under the river.
